Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."

OUR STORY

Years ago while my children were still young I found myself dealing with a worldly dilemma due to the celebration of Halloween. Not only did the world have zero problem celebrating the night many of my churched friends & family I spoke with really didn't see an issue celebrating the night. However in good conscious I just couldn't see myself allowing my 5 children to venture out even with their pleas, "but dad we just want the candy"! That's when I felt our Lords prompting to allow my children an opportunity to venture out, however under certain conditions!

First, they were required to be under mine or my wife's supervision. Second, they needed to dress in a Bible character outfit. Third, as they approach the homeowners door, they were to greet the homeowner by saying "Truth for Treat"!!! Lastly I asked them to share a Bible scripture they had been memorizing.

Therein the start of "Truth for Treat"

Here at Truth for Treat, we are driven by many verses from The Word of God. One more specific is from Acts 1:8 (NASB),

"but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
